The recent U turn by its ally from Hyderabad, MIM on the land regularisation scheme has put KCR in a spot. The Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is worried due to the opposition of land regularisation scheme by MIM, which dominates the old city.
Also the logic behind KCR shifting towards BJP is the benefits the TD is getting in Andhra due to its alliance with BJP.
It was also learnt that KCR was even looking to the extent of joining the Union Cabinet as part of Modi led government.
But the BJP President Amit Shah is opposed to the idea of alliance with regional parties. He also wants to dump the alliance with the TDP in Andhra and expand its own base by attracting leaders from Congress and YSR Congress.
Unofficially, it is learnt that KCR has asked his party leaders to refrain from blaming the BJP in open.
