Telangana State Road Transport Corporation will be introducing four new types of mini A/C busses from this Diwali to cater the needs of people. In the first phase, these buses, named as Vajra, will be plied in the Hyderabad –Warangal and Hyderabad- Nizamabad routes and in the second phase, they will be run extended to other routes.The rate of Hyderabad to Warangal is fixed at Rs 300/ and for Nizamabad, it will be Rs 350/
50 mini busses will be plied initially and fifty more will be added in the second phase. Tickets will not be issued in busses. One has to visit www.tsrtconline.in, or can approach the bus stands or RTC wallet or M-Wallet. A new app will be introduced and there will be 10 per cent discount for group booking. If the experiment yields results, 136 non-A/C busses will also be introduced in rural areas, according to Somarapu Satyanarayana, Chairman of TSRTC.
