Minister helps patients

NIMS3-300x225Health Minister Laxmareddy came to the rescue of two emergency patients brought from Mahbubnagar and Karimnagar respectively to Nims hospital exactly at a time when he was on an inspection in the
hospital. Patients were initially denied admission in the emergency wards by the doctors stating shortage of beds. Patients’ relatives literally fell on the feet of minister who ordered immediate treatment to the serious patients. Thereafter Reddy ordered the director to increase beds in ICU and arrange for more beds in the Trauma care
unit. He told media persons that Cancer Centres and ICUs would be opened in districts and bed strength would also be raised in the ICU.
