Modi conducts special session with Russia’s Putin at Brazil

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held special bilateral sessions with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the BRICS summit at Fortaleza. Modi invited Putin to visit Kudankulam Atomic Power Station during his proposed tour of India in September. Modi reminded the traditional friendly relations of both countries, including mentioning his own trip to Russia in 2001. The leaders discussed international issues like UN Security Council reforms and bilateral need for liberal Visa rules, especially for students.
