Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit five Central Asian nations and Russia from July 6, and participate in the BRICS and SCO summit. His first visit will be to Uzbekistan. He will be in Kazakhstan on July 7 and 8. He will join the 7th BRICS summit and SCO summit in Ufa, Russia. After the BRICS Summit, he will reach Turkmenistan on July 11. This is the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister after P V Narasimha Rao’s visit in 1995. PM’s next halt is Kyrgyzstan on July 12. A statue of Mahatma Gandhi will also be unveiled. OnJuly 12 and 13, he will visit Tajikistan.
