Modi to lay stone for AP capital

article_52848104AP government has made elaborate arrangements for conducting a grand
function from October 13 to 22. AP CM Chandrababu has invited Prime
Minister Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone for the new capital
Amaravati city on Dasara festival falling on October 22. The Prime
Minister has agreed to attend the programme and also declare open the
new airport terminal built at a cost of Rs 170 crore in Tirupati.
Later, he will reach the Tirumala for Srivari darshan. Invitation cards and sarees are to be given to 16,000 villagers arriving from the new capital city, according to ministers. Side by side the AP CM and his colleagues will carry broom sticks and sweep the roads in Guntur
as part of Swachh Andhra Pradesh.
