Modi Ways Back Home After a Successful Japan Visit

Untitled-3After concluding his successful visit to Japan, PM Narendra Modi left for home today. Japan agreed to contribute USD 35 billion to India for developmental projects over the next 5 years.

Five deals have been signed between the two countries that covers defence exchanges, cooperation in clean energy, roads and highways, healthcare and women. Both the countries agreed to take the relationship to a new level.

Ban on six Indian entities including Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) have been lifted by Japan that was imposed after 1998 nuclear tests.

Mr Modi tried everything to lure the investment from Japan while hard-selling India as a favourable destination for business particularly for the manufacturing sector.

Mr Modi also announced to ease the rules and procedures for Japanese investors with a special arrangement in his office.
