Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join the ranks of prominent global leaders at Madame Tussauds in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok next month, anounced the world famous wax museum. Describing Modi as the world’s most popular political figure after Obama, the museum authorities said that they were delighted to include Modi’s figure in their attractions. The statues will be dressed in Modi’s signature Kurta in cream with jacket, and he will be featured in a traditional pose making a ‘namaste’ gesture. Madame Tussauds Studios London has been making wax figures for over 150 years with each masterpiece taking up to four months and a team of 20 dedicated sculptors to create.
