Naidu challenges Jagan: Prove the charges or quit

AP Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu lost cool in Assembly and teared into the allegations levelled against him by YS Jaganmohan Reddy during the discussion on no-confidence motion. When Mr Jagan said Naidu is accused number one in 26 cases and also caught red-handed in the cash-for-vote scam, a furious Naidu rebutted that Mr Jagan has had the habit of making unfounded and false allegations. “I threw him a challenge a couple of days back to prove the charges levelled against Prattipati Pulla Rao and P Narayana. He ran away. Now again he makes false allegations. This should stop. Till he proves the charges against me and my colleagues, I will not relent and the House also should not run” Naidu made it clear. Jagan countered it by insisting for CBI probe on the involvement of Naidu and his ministerial colleagues for which the Chief Minister said a firm no.. The House was adjourned amidst heated exchange of words.
