National Special Award for C.V. Anand for Election Role

C.V.-AnandHyderabad: C.V. Anand, Cyberabad police commissioner has been bestowed the National Special Award by the Election Commission of India for his commendable election-related measures taken by him the area of “Expenditure Monitoring and Tackling Money Power”.

C.V. Anand is the first ever IPS officer to get the award in the country. He said “I am very happy and it’s a big moment in my career. I dedicate this award to all the 7,000 cops in the Cyberabad police commissionerate.”

The Award consist a cash reward of Rs 50,000 along with a plaque and citation. The award will be received by Mr. Anand on January 25 in New Delhi on the National Voter’s Day.
