The International right-wing organization Vishwa Hindu Parishad has warned two particular communities against any attempt to enter into any ‘Navratri’ festival.
Muslims and Christians have been asked by the VHP to stay away from Navratri festival.
The official spokesperson of VHP, Surendra Jain said in New Delhi, “We are warning Muslims and Christians that they should stay away from all our festivals. The Navratri festival is for Hindus only”.
“Muslims and Christians do not pray to the Hindu mother goddess so why should they dance and enjoy nightly feasts with us?” asked Jain.
VHP is a major accused in stirring the environment in the 2002 Gujarat riots that killed more than 1,000 people.
Earlier, VHP and other right-wing organizations have warned Muslims from entering any event of Dandia and Garbha.
