PM at NDA meetingThe NDA government is understood to have discussed for holding a special session of Parliament to get the vital bills passed and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a special meeting with the ministers concerned. Earlier, extension of a special session was discussed by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary affairs. NDA partners headed by the prime minister also went into a huddle on the last day of the session to discuss the future course of action as also to teach a lesson to the Opposition for holding both the Houses to ransom. As part of the scheme the saffron party has decided to organize ‘jana sabha’ in 53 constituencies represented by the Congress and Left parties. BJP leaders maintained that they would get the stamp of Parliament approval for GST bill in the forthcoming financial year.
