Nestle to withdraw Maggie noodles

maggireuters_650x400_51433488578Nestle global CEO Paul Bulcke clarified today that the company is withdrawing the entire stock of Maggie noodles from the Indian markets in the wake of the controversy surrounding the product and many State Governments banning the said noodles as they were found to be harmful due to excess use of lead and MSG content. Paul asserted that they would come back with fresh supplies with ‘’ No MSG ‘’ labels. He also said that noodles contained no harmful substance mono sodium glutamate and that the quality maintained was one and the same world-wide.
