Bandaru Dattatreya, recent addition in Modi’s Union Ministers and the lone minister in the Centre has announced that his first gift to the state after assuming new office comes as a medical college in Sanathnagar bside ESI Hospital at a cost of Rs. 435 Crore.
He made the announcement at a felicitation function organised by the state government on Saturday, which was attended by KCR and other leaders of ruling and opposition.
Dattatreya also announced increase the help to beedi workers up to Rs. 1 Lakh to construct their houses. He also assured that salaries, pensions and providents funds to the employees of all sectors would be released in time without any issue.
“While K Chandrasekhar Rao is the first chief minister of Telangana, I am the first person from the new state to become a Union minister,” expressed Bandaru Dattatreya happily.
Dattatreya assumed a central berth as Minister of State in the Union Ministry of Labout and Employment.
