After being called ‘Hypocrite’ by Modi on Sunday, Bihar CM Nitish chose to reply in a different tone yesterday. He questioned Modi’s capability and vision for India as he is not respecting the ‘Heart’ of Indian democracy – Secularism.
“Those who could not stop storms of revenge from blowing in Gujarat are claiming to drive winds of Change !! Can one ever imagine what would have happened had such people ruled Delhi in 1992 or 2002? This nation would not have survived. Even the strongest body and mind cannot overcome heart attack. Secularism is the heart of unity of our Nation,” said Nitish Kumar on a Facebook post after a one day deeksha demanding special status to Bihar.
Taking strong objection to Modi’s comment that Bihar is a safehaven for terrorists, Nitish wrote “Look at the difference in his words and action. He talks of providing special status to the state and propagate that Bihar is the hub of terrorism. Bihar youth are hard working, honest and patriotic. But these people are labelling them as terrorists. These are seculars! They are making loud noise over it.”
