No antibiotics, says doc

MedicinesDoctors have stressed the need to cut down use of antibiotics on a war footing in order to protect the defence mechanism in the body. By and large people seek quick relief by swallowing the antibiotics. This trend has picked up and it almost turned into a sort of addiction proving detrimental to the interests of human body. They also pointed out that antibiotics play a key role during surgeries. If the system is addicted to antibiotics these drugs may not serve the purpose at a crucial hour, warn surgeons. There is a logic in what they pointed out. If the system develops immunity to antibiotics they may not act when prescribed by the surgeon. Body becomes impotent to fight bacteria or killer diseases.

This practice has become rampant even among kids. The dosage is up no matter what are the ill-effects of the drugs despite rules and legislations. The inclination to swallow antibiotics has gone up for over a decade. The problem is people tend to go to medical shops and even for common colds or flu or any minor ailment avoiding a doctor. This is said to be risky in the long run. Temporary relief is provided by the said dosage but that is not the method to cure the disease, says doctor. Further, constant dosage without the sanction of physicians is likely to affect the nervous system resulting in weakness and reducing the potency to fight any disease. As it is adulterated food or chemical oriented food items ( like Maggie noodles ) in addition to rampant pollution make the body weak which are bound to affect the digestive system, respiratory system, blood circulation among others.
