Hyderabad: The government may not get the Rajya Sabha approval for the contentious land Acquisition Bill. But Venkaiah Nadiu helped for the approval of the two Telugu-speaking states for the legislation.

Whereas, TRS has one member in Rajya Sabha and six in TD, there is lack of number in it. So union minister have been personally speaking to state CMs for support. They have five categories like defence, national, security, infrastructure, rural housing, affordable housing and highway.
“There was no dilution in the compensation to be paid to owners or rehabilitation measures. This is pro-farmer Act, which is very necessary for the country”, he said.
