The Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were face to face recently when Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Cheif Ministers’ Meeting to discuss the scrapping proposal of Planning Commission of India. Taking the opportunity, KCR met Modi to educate him about the future plans of the state government and also to bring in PM’s notice the violations being made by AP in the implementation of AP Reorganisation Act.
Speaking to the media at the Central Hall of the Parliament, KCR denied any need for him to discuss the post-bifurcation issues with Chandrababu Naidu. He said that the AP Reorganisation Act 2014 is very clear and does not need any discussion; rather the fair implementation is required. “The Act is very clear and it has even set timelines for certain projects”, said KCR.
