Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao said that his government would take steps to ensure that no farmer would end his life this year. “We will take measures to end the continuous drought that enveloped parts of the state. Fight for Telangana has been based on three factors- water, funds and employment. With the achievement of separate state, two issues have been resolved i.e. employment and funds. Our jobs will be given to our own youth and Ghanta Chakarapani is already on the job. The funds will be spent for our development. The remaining issue is water and I have focussed on it from the day one of my swearing-in as Chief Minister. The process of redesigning of projects is on and we will ensure that Telangana will turn green” he explained.
Mr Rao participated at the Ugadi (Telugu New Year) celebrations at Ravindra Bharathi in the city and hoped all good for the state.
