‘No Question of Joining Hands with NCP’, says BJP

Untitled-12After its 25-year-old tie up collapsed with the Shiv Sena, Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday also annuled any chances of post-poll alliance with Sharad Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

State incharge and party general secretary of BJP Rajiv Pratap Rudy said, “The question doesn’t arise”.

Rudy said, “Why should there be a future alliance? I can tell you with certainty that we are going it alone. They (Congress and NCP) are going to be non-existent in the state after elections”.

“This is an insensible logic and a reckless argument that BJP will go with NCP after polls. Both Congress and NCP are equally to blame for the mess in Maharashtra”, said the former union minister.

He further added that Narendra Modi will campaign for the party in the state assembly election scheduled for October 15.
