No refund for cancelling rail ticket

According to a new railway rule coming into force from November 12,
they have decided not to refund amount for ticket cancellation. A
passenger will automatically lose the entire amount of the ticket if
he/she cancels the ticket. Further, ticket cancellation charges will
be doubled now. Earlier, 50 percent was returned within two hours if
the passenger missed the train and only reservation charges were not
returned after cancellation of ticket within 48 years. Now it is a
different story. Rs 60 will be charged instead of Rs 30 to cancel a
second class ticket and for second sleeper birth cancellation Rs 120
will be charged in place of Rs 60. Rs 180 will be levied instead of Rs
90 for third AC ticket cancellation and Rs 200 will be cut in place of
Rs 100 to cancel a second class AC ticket.
