No truth in Rs. 250 raise on LPG news: Central Oil Minister

The Central Oil Minister has clarified that there is no proposal in the government to recommend the LPG price rise issue to the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA). In fact, there is no proposal to raise the subsidized gas, or kerosene declared Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Earlier today, there was news in sections of media that the government is considering the Kirit Parekh panel recommendations in this regard and would seek the CCPA approval before announcing the decision. Price of non-susidized LPG, aviation fuel was raised on Wednesday by the Union government.
