No VCs for 11 universities

download5-300x156Regular vice-chancellors have not been appointed so far in 11 universities including the OU even after government took over TS administration one year ago. The prestigious universities are being administerd by in-charge VCs but were unable to cope up with the work while handling their additional duties. For the last 14 months OU was being managed by an in-charge VC. So also in Mahatma Gandhi, Kakatiya, Ambedkar Open University, JNTU, Pottisriramulu Telugu university, Palamooru university, Shathavahana university. As a result these institutions are running for name sake and issues were being kept pending. Academicians expressed concern over the issue and sought immediate appointments of regular VCs.
