In the midst of the water crisis in the state, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that the government will make sure the supply of the basic necessity to all the regions nearby soon after completion of Thottapalli project. He informed that the project will be ready to serve the crisis-hit state after one year.
CM Naidu also announced that that the farmers who lost small teak trees under the ‘Hudhud’ devastation will be compensated with Rs. 500 per tree while those whose trees had been ruined in large numbers, the government will buy all those through auctions.
CM was speaking to the media persons in Vizag, during his re-visit to the cyclone-hit Northern Andhra Pradesh.
