Notice To Centre On Prez Rule

supreme-courtThe Supreme Court issued a notice to the central government on the imposition of President rule on Arunachal Pradesh. The Apex court which heard the petition on Wednesday sought centre’s clarification over the issue by 29th of this month. The Congress Party filed a writ petition in the Court challenging the president rule in Arunachal Pradesh.

Earlier, the Central government decided to impose president rule on Arunachal Pradesh and recommended the same to the President. The President having satisfied himself with the Central cabinet’s explanation, gave his assent.
