Now Delhi’s governor supports SIT on ’84

Delhi Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung is said to have backed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s recent demand for a SIT probe again on the 1984 anti sikh riots.

After thirty years, the original investigations on the riots have convicted mere 28 persons. A former CBI joint director in a TV interview recently said that the investigation was diluted to safeguard Jagdish Tytler, one of the major accused figures from Congress. Kejriwal too is very keen on locking horns with Congress over this issue. He made this demand for re investigation just a day after Rahul Gandhi’s first major TV interview where he refused to apologize for the riots.

Najeeb Jung’s sudden endorsement of Kejriwal will sure increase the troubles of Congress over this issue.
