‘One Full Meal’ Programme under ICDS

G-KishanOn December 15, 2014 in Warangal district Collector G Kishan directed the officials to make dedicated efforts for the effective implementation of ‘One Full Meal’ program under ICDS.

A modified nutritious diet for 30 days in a month for Pregnant women and lactating mothers are given one egg and 200 ml milk and for children get one egg every day through all the anganwadi centres to address the problem of malnutrition.
A fund of Rs 94 crore for the implementation of the program from December 2014 to March 2015. On Friday, an orientation program was held in Kakatiya University, under the aegis of the Department of Women Development and Child Welfare in association with UNICEF. 2.50 lakh women and children in the district would be benefitted under the program. Sukhajeevan Babu, UNICEF representative Sivalkar Reddy were also present.
