One more MLA quits YSRC

kalamataDefection from YSRC to Telugu Desam continues unabated in AP as one more MLA from the opposition party has switched loyalties today. MLA from Pathapatnam in Srikakulam district- Kalamata Venkata Ramana Murthy has announced that he would be joining the ruling party along with his father and former MLA-Kalamata Mohana Rao on March 4. With this the total number of MLAs who have defected to TD from YSRC has gone up to seven. Buzz is that some more MLAs are also in touch with the Telugu Desam leadership. Jagan’s attempts to keep his flock together have failed as 13 MLAs from his party have abstained from the meeting convened by him to discuss on introducing a no-confidence motion against TD government in the ensuing budget session of Assembly.
