Online aid for Indians abroad

unnamedMinistry of External Affairs has launched an online Consular Grievances Monitoring System, MADAD, on February 21, to assist Indians abroad. Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs will jointly address complaints received through MADAD. All Missions and Posts abroad and the MEA’s branch secretariats in Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Kolkata have been linked to this portal for consular grievance tracking and follow-up. It allows registration of grievances and tracking of the grievance handling process. Any grievance or complaint brought to the attention of the ministry through social media is duly attended to. Minister of State for External affairs V K Singh informed in the Lok Sabha.
