Soon after the Finance Minister Etela Rajender presented the maiden budget of newly formed state Telangana, the opposition parties tied their knots to play the role of a typical opposition. Uttam Kumar Reddy of Congress, reacting on the budget, pointed out the loop holes saying the government has not mentioned any plan to tackle the issue of farmers’ suicides and power crisis.
Dr. K Laxman of Bharatiya Janata Party responded on the maiden budget of the state saying ‘it’s a jugglery of numbers’. He said that the finance minister has not provided any idea about how the government is ready to handle fiscal deficit.
D Srinivas, Congress MLC and senior leader said, the budget failed to address core issues. He said that the budget disappointed the people of the state.
