Opposition Leaders criticized KCR for power politics

Jana-ReddyOn Saturday, Jana Reddy the Leader of Opposition in Assembly K. flayed Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for his concentration on power politics in the newly formed state, rather than improving current situation about electricity. Mr Reddy, along with TPCC working president N. Uttam kumar Reddy, said it seems that it is only touring the districts for the sake of politics, not in the interests of farmers and poor people.

Mr Reddy said, “Even when the state was united and there was less water available in Nagarjunasagar, the then Congress government ensured supply of waters for Rabi crop under Left Bank canal, but the TRS government has not made any announcement on when are they going to release water for the Rabi crop.”

He added, Over six lakh acres of ayacut under Left Bank canal in Nalgonda and Khammam are expected to be getting water for Rabi crop, but still the TRS govt busy in doing politics than talking to Krishna River Management Board. Mr Reddy criticised AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu naidu for doing injustice to Telangana.
