OU Students, Congress Criticize KCR for Being Selective

kcrThe Congress Party blamed the ruling TRS and Chief Minister KCR for being selective in withdrawing cases against the students of Osmania University, that were lodged during the massive movement. Senior Congress leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir said that the students from Osmania University met the Congress leaders at Gandhi Bhavan to gripe about the selective behavior of the government.

The students grumbled that authorities have withdrawn the cases that were petty and major cases are still to be withdrawn against them.

Speaking to the media, Shabbir criticized KCR government for not taking a strong step in this regard though almost 5 months have been completed since the formation of the new state and KCR took over as the first Chief Minister. KCR had made a poll promise that he will remove all the pending cases against every participant in the movement who took part during the agitation.
