Outbreak has shaken the Medical and Health Departments

T.-RajaiahHyderabad: The medical and health departments are shaken by swine flu outbreak and put big question mark for the Deputy chief Minister and medical and health minister Dr. T. Rajaiah.

According to the rumour KCR extremely upset and Dr. Rajaiah might face the axe sooner or later due to swine flu fiasco. The CM of the state had quickly responded to the issue, including the recent filling of some paramedical posts and purchase of ambulance for 108. Wherein accusations of corruption have surfaced.

A minister said “Yes, we could check corruption at the top level, but things are not good at the grassroots, which are giving a bad name to the government”. The swine flu outbreak has come as an unexpected assault for the CM who has been going all out to enchase the brand image of Hyderabad as international city and IT hub.

A senior TRS leader told Deccan Chronicle “Going through the reports against medical and health departments, departure of the health minister looks imminent. Mr. Rao will wait for an appropriate time, if he decides to take action .But; a case is being built up against him going by my information”.

And the officials also updating the reports to the health ministers’. And some of the MLA from different districts also responding. And the abrupt transfer of director of health R. Sambasiva Rao for alleged mishandling of the swine flu situation is the first indication of serious action to be taken.

In case he decides to drop Dr.Rajaiah from the ministry, he will have to look over “unless the CM has concrete evidence of lapses, he will not take action” revealed by TRS source.
