Hyderabad: The outer Ring Road commuters will have to pay more tolls per junction as the leased out agency of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Authority and 50,000 vehicles use the ORR and out of 20 junctions, 13 have toll booths.
The agency pays Rs 3.92 crore per month to HMDA calculated per Kilometre and authorities say the increase will not be uniform.
“The proposed revised charge will be rounded off to the nearest round figure”.
The national Highway Fee Rules 2008 issued by the ministry of shipping, road transport and highways. Toll is collected at Pedda Amberpet, Bonguluru, Raviryal, Tukkuguda, Pedda, Golconda, and other places.
