Paid leave for sexually harassed …

unnamed (1)As per Section 9 of Chapter IV of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, any aggrieved woman can complain of sexual harassment at workplace to the Internal Committee within three months from the date of incident and in case of a series of incidents, within three months from the date of last incident. The complaint panel will recommend to the employer to transfer the aggrieved woman or the charged officer, to grant three months leave to the victim in addition to the leave she is entitled to. Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances Jitendra Singh informed in the Lok Sabha.
