Pak to restore Geetha to…

GEETAPakistani officers were successful in their trials to identify the parents of Geetha – a missing dum and deaf girl from Bihar to India after 12 years. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj informed that
line is clear to restore her to her parents only after the DNA tests. Geetha identified the group photo sent by her parents which satisfied the Pakistani officers. Decks have been cleared to restore her back to
Bihar as External Affairs Ministry completed all formalities related to her travel. She was under the protection of an NGO Edi in Karachi and the foundation head Bilkiz looked after Geetha as her own daughter. Pakistani media too played its role in her story coverage in
a big way after watching the Bollywood’s Bajrangi film  which highlighted the story of a girl innocently crossing the international borders. Five families put forth their claim over her.
