Pakistan decided to work shoulder to shoulder with India on terrorism in the backdrop of Pathankot incident. The Pak PMO announced that the chief of Jaishe Muhmmad Moulana Masood Azhar, his brother Rawoof Rehman and some other members of this terrorist group were arrested. A high level meeting chaired by the Pak prime minister Nawaj Sharif decided to work with India to rout out terrorism. Sharif appointed a special investigation team with ISI, MI and IB for this purpose. But it is not yet clear whether Masood will be handed over to India or not. His arrest is not officially communicated to India till now. Meanwhile the chief of the Indian army General Dalbir Singh Suhag said that the Indian army is ready to meet any eventuality. The NIA, investigating into Pathankot incident found a wireless set near a vehicle abandoned by the terrorists. As ‘Made in China’ mark was noticed on it, it was sent to forensic lab. The NIA grilled SP Balwinder Singh for the third day today. No decision was yet taken on the
foreign secretary level talks scheduled for Friday.
