Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao’s remarks on media are still haunting the chief of the pink brigade. In a latest development, the three-member committee of Press Council of India has smashed the Chief Minister for his alleged derogatory remarks against the fourth pillar of democracy.
The Press Council of India had constituted a three-member committee to probe further into the alleged remarks by CM. The committee submitted its report to the Centre and the Council. It says in the report that the remarks by KCR have installed fear in media people and unions. It mentioned the remark, in which KCR had said that he will bury the anti-Telangana media 10 kilometres deep, saying it was not appropriate for those who have taken oath on Constitution to make such instigating statements.
The committee has asked the council and the Centre to take a serious note of such remarks
