51433952729_625x300Prices of petrol and diesel have been increased by 36 paise and 87 paise per litre respectively in the wake of hike in prices of international crude oil and this is the first time that petrol price was raised in the past five months. But the diesel price has been increased three times since last October. In New Delhi the cost of petrol per liter is Rs 61.06 in place of Rs 60.70 and a liter of diesel has been raised from Rs 45.93 to Rs 46.80, according to IOC. The IOC also informed that the hike in fuel prices was due to change in rupee value against dollar and the burden was quietly transferred to the consumers.
