Chandrashekar Rao instructed the officials of the Energy department to prepare plans for 24-hour power supply to the denizens of Hyd spoke to with the management of the GreenCo company in a meeting. He wanted to give 24/7 power supply to dwellers of hyd.
Stating that his govt targets to generate 800 MW of power from solar and wind sources by 2018, the Chief Minister said tenders were already called for the setting up of solar power plants with 2,000 MW capacity under the long-term plan.
