PM Modi’s Second Visit to J&K Soon

modiPrime Minister Narendra Modi will soon visit Jammu and Kashmir again this month marking his second visit to the valley after he became PM. Mr. Modi plans for Ladakh visit while addressing public rallies in Kargil and Leh. He will also inaugurate a power transmission project.
Mr. Modi is expected to visit the next Tuesday or the following Tuesday, i.e., either on August 12 or 19.
In his earlier trip to J&K in July, he flagged off a new train to Katra, the base town to Vaishno Devi shrine. He also inaugurated the second phase of Hydel project in Uri. I want to win the hearts of the people of Jammu and Kashmir through development”, he stated during the last visit.
The BJP government bolts the ambitious 2000 Crore Srinagar-Leh Transmission Line as a Vajpayee initiative which was first announced in 2003 by the former PM.
