PM takes on Rahul in National Council meeting

National-Council-meetingPrime Minister Narendra Modi today attacked Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi as the later commented early today about clashes in UP were ‘artificially engineered’.

“People who despite defeat do vote-bank politics, they are trying to destroy social fabric,” Narendra Modi stated in BJP’s National Council at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi today.

The meeting was held to authorize Amit Shah as the president of Bharatiya Janata Party.

Mr. Modi said that the global perspective of India has been changed after BJP took the landslide victory in general elections.

“People have given their verdict, it is our turn now. We will adequately fulfill the aspirations of people,” he added.

“BJP would not have won Uttar Pradesh without Amit Shah in the team. Rajnath Singh was the Captain and Amit Shah Man of the Match in polls”, Narendra Modi asserted in a praising tone.

In Uttar Pradesh, BJP sealed 71 out of 80 seats under the guardianship of Amit Shah, playing the most crucial role in party’s victory.
