As the three major political parties are in fray for Medak by-polls slated for September 13, the politics in the state heated up. Parties are making every attempt to lure the voters in this prestigious election. The top brass of all the parties have geared up in Medak to win the first poll in after state formation.
TRS is confident of reposing another victory, but it says that all its attempts are to seal a big win. KCR had won with a majority of 3.9 Lakh votes in general elections held in April this year. The party aims at increasing the margin this time and had deputed the cabinet ministers and party leaders to check out strategies.
The BJP, who supported the formation of state, is not happy with the performance of the party in general elections. The state unit is trying its best to seal a win to transfer a positive message to the central unit.
“Congress alone and not the TRS was responsible for separate state”, is again the tone of the Congress which was almost dumped in the general elections by the voters.
TRS is being backed by CPI and Harish Rao is leading the campaign.
Congress has imported Digvijay Singh, Sachin Pilot, Md Azharuddin and Jyotiraditya Scindia as the star campaigners.
