Pollution in Delhi Increases

Delhi-pollutionPollution levels in Delhi increased after the odd-even experiment stopped. Pollution levels increased just after the first three days after experiment which continued for 15 days from January 1 to January 15 was over, according to the estimates of Centre for Science and Environment. On the first day of the expiry of the experiment, the fine particulate matter increased by 57 percent. The scientific body suggested to the government of Delhi to continue the odd-even system till the winter is over. It also requested the state government to implement the directives of the Supreme Court to control pollution.
