Ponnala Takes Hard on KCR on Farm Loan and Power Shortage

Untitled-3Ponnala Laxmaiah, the Pradesh Congress Committee president of Telangana on Tuesday attacked the ruling TRS Rao not helping the families of the farmers who committed suicide.

He said that government has not helped even a single family while 233 farmers committed suicide in the last four months. He said there is a provision of a financial help of Rs. 2 Lakh to each family of the farmer who committed suicide but KCR government has not given a single rupee to the suicide victims.

Ponnala said that the KCR government is deliberately misquidign on the farm loan waiver. The actual farm loan arrears are of 22,890 Crore while the KCR government is presenting this as 16,890 Crore.

PCC Chief also criticized the TRS government for current power crisis in the state. He said that the former UPA government had provisioned 54% of energy to Telangana state in the AP Reorganisation Act but KCR has made no attempts to make this possible.
