The former Member of Parliament from Karimnagar Ponnam Prabhakar termed the state budget presented by TRS government as ‘Dreamers’ budget. He claimed that this budget is not worth to attain the target of ‘Bangaru Telangana’.
Ponnam Prabhakar also claimed that the budget disappointed the people of Karimnagar. No adequate allocations have been made to the district in any sector. He said that the budget represents more of Siddipet and Gajwel constituencies, and not the whole state.
Ponnam said, “The chief minister during his visit to the city recently announced that he would strive to develop the city on the lines of New York. Health minister Dr. T. Rajaiah promised to provide all facilities in the civil hospital on par with NIMS. But the budget allocations can fulfill neither of their promises”.
