PR workers’ stir ends

18-municipal_GD__H_2410674fAbout 30,000 panchayati raj workers have called off their 44 days strike following the talks held by workers union leaders with the government. PR Minister K Tharaka Ramarao assured to examine their demands for minimum wages along with remuneration in job and health security schemes. A committee headed by PR secretary is expected to submit a report to the minister after study of demands. KTR has asked them to work for success of Grama Jyothi scheme. Union leaders urged the government to solve their problems or they warned to go on strike again.
