Hyderabad: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak sangh has been taking up the program to imbibe Indian and Hindu cultural values. They visited about 6,000 villages and taught 20 lakh families about Hindu cultural values.RSS also warned the ruling TRS government against promoting MIM in the state.
Telangana RSS joint secretary A. Chandrasekhar said, “One of the resolutions adopted was to imbibe Indian cultural values among the youth. We have already reached about 6,000 villages and 20 lakh families in the state and told them about Hindu cultural values. Another resolution is to ensure there is no caste discrimination.”
Asked about the controversial Ghar Wapsi programme, Mr Chandrashekar said, “Ghar Wapsi will be there as long as conversions are there. It is a natural process. Both are related to each other and should be seen that way. We are only helping people get back to their original faith.”
He also said the TRS government shouldn’t encourage the MIM. The RSS functionary said “TRS government shouldn’t promote Majilis just for the vote bank. Owaisi brothers are barred from entering many states in the country”.
