The State Government has issued health cards to employees for cashless treatment but the corporate hospitals refused to provide free treatment. Employees’ crisis began and government discussed the matter with corporate hospitals’ team but it was inconclusive. A second meeting was also held with them by Medical and Health Minister Laxmareddy, chief secretary Rajiv Sharma and secretaries concerned but again it ended without any concrete decision. Government has requested the corporate hospital to study the list of rates given to them. Superspeciality hospital managements were informed about Nims rates, Arogya Sri packages and in-patient surgical rates. Health cards will be valid if hospitals agree for the said rates.
