Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao replaced deputy CM post with Kadiam Srihari. Mr Srihari disclosed that he would resign his LS membership from Warangal after being elected as MLC. He would work like a soldier to achieve the CM’s objective to make Telangana a golden state, he added. Mr Srihari had dressed as minister in the NTR and Naidu cabinets. In marketing, higher education and major irrigation he held portfolios.
Mr Rao held a closed door meeting of senior party leaders and ministers about the dismiss issue of Dr Rajaiah. Mr Rao briefed them about the necessity to sack Dr Rajaiah as the latter had taken decisions without keeping him informed, including appointment of the registrar for the new Medical and Health University.
And he informed that lakhs of rupees exchanged by hands in the medical and health ministry and according to intelligence reports lots of irregularities by him.
